Growing up in the English countryside, food was never abstract — it came from the garden, the river, and the hedgerows. Apple and blackberry pies from the family kitchen. Fishing and hunting with an instinct for what was seasonal and what was worth eating.

That early respect for ingredients led to catering college, then years living and cooking in Italy and Spain, and time as an onboard chef aboard luxury yachts across the Mediterranean and Arabian Sea.

The cooking is Mediterranean-led with a modern British sensibility — shaped by the markets of Mallorca as much as by the client in front of me. Whether it's a relaxed villa dinner, a yacht passage, or a long-term residency, the approach is the same: exceptional ingredients, clean technique, and a table worth sitting at.

The world on your plate

I've been extremely lucky to travel the world as a private/yacht chef and experience different cultures during my career, tasting their cuisines and broadening my culinary repertoire. This means I’m able to adapt my menus and style to suit the many different needs and nationalities of my clients.

Whether I’m cooking in a restaurant or aboard a super yacht, my philosophy is simple – hygiene, fresh ingredients and healthy, varied menus are at the heart of all my cooking. I’m a classically trained chef, embracing many styles and techniques. I have cooked for over three decades on land and sea. After leaving college to study hotel management, I left the UK to work in Italy and Spain, Mallorca. My objective is to cook for people who become addicted to total freshness and quality, great food not only sustains life but enhances it. My cooking is a celebration of this fact. I’m also experienced in creating dishes that cater to unique dietary needs such as halal, gluten-free, and vegetarian diets, making sure that everyone can enjoy delicious and satisfying meals.
